Is it possible for an Elf to use non-magical means to Disguise themselves as a Human?
Obviously ears are an issue but let say they cover them with hair, hat, hood or clever prosthetic or are their proportions and features literally too Elven to pass?

There are humans with those aquiline features. But those eyes would be a big giveaway. If the target of the deception has no familiarity with elven features one could make up that they're from a distant country to explain the eyes, might work.

Yes I'd imagine you could fool peasants and lower intelligence humans and halflings, but well-educated or well-traveled humans and any dwarfs or elves would be able to spot the disguise right away.

As a GM, I'd rule that any "disguise" for an elf to pass for human would probably make the elf stick out -even more-. This would be the deeply hooded and oversized black cloak, covering one's face with a thick scarf, etc.
Your best bet would be shadow magic, and that's assuming you have access.

I think that it would be possible. At Pinterest, TikTok or at live cosplay events. you find lots of humans who look convincingly like elves (or have animal-like features), having used make-up and such stuff. So I don't know why it wouldn't work the other way.
