Hello all,

I’ve returned to the grim-and-perilous-sphere when I finally began running The Enemy Within—the Fantasy Flight one, not the one that'd be easy to run —using the 4th edition rules. Adjusting this campaign to 4e requires a fair amount of conversion work, and to keep track of the process, share insights, and provide a resource for others attempting similar conversions, I’ve started documenting some of it on my new shiny blog: https://musingofablackcowl.wordpress.com/

Whether you’re a GM looking for tips, a player curious about the differences between editions, or simply a fan of the Warhammer world, there’s something there for you.

I've got a potted summary of my thoughts on both Enemy Withins, a couple of NPCs and some lore so far.

I'll follow it. Many thanks.

As for “perhaps it’s also because this was the fag end of the WFRP3 line. There’s very little original artwork: the new material amounts largely to portraits of each of four key NPCs, with the rest filled out by “stock” Games Workshop pieces you may have seen before”, I remind that the French editor did translated The Enemy Within, but that its translation never was validated (nor even unvalidated, it never received any answer) so it could be published, which underliens indeed how it was already “the fag end” of that line.

As a result, this adventure never was published in France (and, as far as I know, the translation is lost).
