Probably my first and last post on this subforum: Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay Fourth Edition Core Rulebook won Best Writing at the ENnie Awards.

Also nominated for Best Rules. I'd be interested to know what the criteria were.

The ENnies don't have any particular criteria. It's like most industry awards, a way for insiders to meet up and pat each other on the back.

That the public voted for WFRP is probably because of our game's devoted fan base. Not because of any particularly inspired writing.

And certainly not because of good rules design.

The worst thing that can happen if Cubicle 7 takes this as confirmation they don't need any quality control.

their existing releases have shown us they certainly don't intend to use this as any excuse for poor editing! >;D
