Hi as GM I need a bigger toolbox.
I'm not exactly sure what the rules are about this but I was wondering if there was any fan made material available?
Currently I'm running a campaign using my adventures and I am running into the problem that a lot of the basic stuff that exist in almost every fantasy setting is missing.
Stuff like elementals, rules for pushing someone away etc.
I can and have been filling in these gaps myself waiting excitedly for C7 to come out with fresh material but this is taking away a lot of my prep time.
So I guess my question is: is there a fan material resource like a monster manual with elementals and other generic creatures? or list of creature traits that could be implemented to add flavour to current monsters?
I'm not asking for anything with GM Workshop intellectual property, just monster and beast that exist in every system but are still not out in WFRP 4e.

depending on who you ask, those don't exist in warhammer.....maybe the problem is you're unfamilier with what the setting is like, gimmie a list and i'll tell you what you need to know.
also pushing someone away is an opposed Melee test, but you can't change someone's actual position in the rules as-is so it's just to keep them out of in-fighting range. i should point out that the game is very "theatre of the mind" about positioning, so you can just use your opposed melee to "push them away" and then use your movement to actually move away. sloppy, but that's life.
yeah, but that was in the 80s, and we don't know if he wants to tap that whole mess. it's not like D&D anyways, there's no elemental plane, the elements just develop out of powerful natural areas on earth and get tapped by specialists. and then they retconned that they didn't exist in the 90s. for whatever reason.

Some logics:
There is a lot of official publications which state that there are elementals in the Warhammer World.
There isn't any official publication which state that there isn't elementals in the Warhammer World.
Anyone can draw the logical conclusion from those two facts that it can't be alleged that elementals don't exists. Especially when we know, from Andy Law, that the official line, which was validated by Games Workshop and put in application by C7's releases is that everything which was officially published, being in the 80s, the 90s, the 2000s or the 10s, is considered correct as long as not officially stated otherwise (and, as far as I know, it wasn't up to know...).
So if we stick to facts (something that wouldn't allow to get different answers depending to whom we ask) the good answer rather seem to be that elementals did existed in the Warhammer world, that we might suppose they still exists provided the fact previously given, but that, since the late 2000s, Warhammer Fantasy's authors tend to ignore much of the non-teclitian magic...
I don't know nor understand what you mean by "other generic creatures"...

Elementals last appeared for Warhammer Fantasy Battle in Storm of Magic which I think was published in 2010.

Elementals (in the traditional sense of fire, water, air, earth) are part of Arabyan magic, at least as per the Arabyan character in Dreadfleet who can summon them. I don't think there's ever been an official source on Araby and how their magic works though.
I think those are Sea Nymphs, Tempest Djinns and Fire Efreeti... But i can't find the book to be sure. Not even sure I own it tbh.
Are you talking about the Djinn subtypes mentioned here?

Then the source is indeed Dreadfleet, page 52-53. They're described as "spirits of the air, of the ocean, and of flame" and "jars [of] living element". The "spirits inside" will "coalesce into a mighty elemental spirit hundreds of feet tall".
(I don't own the book either, but a pdf copy of the book is just a simple googling away)
Good catch. TBH that page probably has all the information in Dreadfleet anyway, I don't get the impression it was particularly in depth? Although the possible Nagash connection is quite interesting.
Although we are possibly getting away from the main point, if you need magical construct-type things of Fire, Storms, or whatever else, there are sources to suggest they exist in lore and page 19 of the document Capitaneus Fractus will give you the stats that probably work (I don't feel I know 4e enough to pass comment on the mechanics).

I'm seriously considering switching to DNd 5e temporarily to reduce my workload.
I will always prefer to use official material over anything fan made but right now that is pretty limited.
So I ask again, is there any site or forum where people have made their version of monsters that I can access or submit my own version to?
