Hey looking to adapt the Battle/Arcane Magic and spell cards in to the 2e RPG, any tips?

From WFB/AoS? Which edition?

Battle & Arcane Magic where for WFB 4th ed and carried over in to 5th and on in to 6th where they pruned the spell lists from 10 per Lore down to 6.

Sounds good, though sadly I don't have any experience with those editions of WFB. I'm really curious to see how it goes though.

Every spell has a Cost of 1-3 power cards and has an effect, eg Grey magic that is all about Weather and Movement has
'Bridge of Shadows" for 2 power you can open a bridge anywhere on the battlefield and a Unit can cross that bridge to any other point within 18" of the start point.

the Bright Wizards Fireball, for each power card spent they can throw 1 Fireball, with a range of 24" line of sight first target hit takes a single S4 hit no armor saves allowed.

year ago I made a stab at this for the for the Light, Bright, Amethyst and Amber collages. Unfortunately I stopped there as no one was playing any other collages in my campaign at the time.
