Converting 1st money to 4th

As GM I've been using 1st edition rules and campaign books to play up until now.
Now that I've bought the 4th edition rulebook, I'd like to convert the party's gold (and the gold in future adventures which I'm getting from 1st edition books) to 4th edition.
How would you convert money from 1st going to 4th? How much do I divide by?
