Over the summer break in my ongoing TEW campaign I'll be running a short side adventure for a player who was absent during much of the spring, as a "flashback" happening during her character's absence. I'm currently leaning towards basing its climax roughly on The Oldenhaller Contract.
Now, I vaguely seem to remember someone posting on the old Strike to Stun forum about doing a rewrite and expansion of TOC to have things make a bit more sense. If anyone knows: is this the same rewrite that's been posted for 4E ("The Oldenhaller Contract Revised" by Ryan Graham) or was it a different work? If the latter, does anyone still have the notes? Or maybe the writer is even still around here?
Reworkings of The Oldenhaller Contract?
The RNHD has some info in one of its adventures. It even gives the Oldenahller's stats.
There is also my conversion for stats, maps and item cards (they are mostly in the Ryan Graham version too)

That other game conversion of the adventure

And if I have some time later I'll post some extra rants about the adventure flaws...

The old good Strike-to-Stun forum is still partially online. Therefore, take a look here, here and especially here. Didz is the guy who has been running his Nuln-based WFRP1E campaign for years. He has reworked much of the official material to suit his taste. He has dealt (in my opinion) successfully with the Oldenhaller Contract inconsistencies and contradictions.Theo wrote: ↑Wed Jun 05, 2019 2:50 am Over the summer break in my ongoing TEW campaign I'll be running a short side adventure for a player who was absent during much of the spring, as a "flashback" happening during her character's absence. I have an incomplete write-up of a reworking of 'The Oldenhaller Contract'. I was at some point going to finish it off and post it on my blog (under the title 'The Oldenhaller Amendment'). Unfortunately it'll be a long while before I get round to finishing it, but I'll try to dig out what I have for you.
Thanks for the input, everyone.
Thanks. And I'm always interested in a good rant.Paco wrote: ↑Wed Jun 05, 2019 10:58 am That other game conversion of the adventure

Great, thanks! I think this must be the stuff I vaguely remembered - I'll have a closer look at it. Is anyone still in touch with Didz?hallucyon wrote: ↑Wed Jun 05, 2019 11:33 am The old good Strike-to-Stun forum is still partially online. Therefore, take a look here, here and especially here.
