I discover (and am very surprised) from the introduction that "inflammable" means "not flammable" in English (at the exact opposite of its French and Latin meaning from which the word was borrowed: in-["on"] -flamm-["fire"] -able["able to be"] = "able to be on fire").
A quite dangerous deceptive cognate for English speakers travelling in (some, at last) foreign lands, I fear!
Beyond this side (and unrelated) remark, thank you Skerrigan for your work.

Veniam, Duelli Malleum, phantasticum ludum personae uidebo, in fera terra periculosorum aduenturorum ludebam.
In standard English "inflammable" means the same as "flammable".Capitaneus Fractus wrote: ↑Tue Aug 03, 2021 4:29 am I discover (and am very surprised) from the introduction that "inflammable" means "not flammable" in English (at the exact opposite of its French and Latin meaning from which the word was borrowed....

I always think of it as "flammable" means something can be set on fire, "inflammable" means it can go up in flames".Gideon wrote: ↑Tue Aug 03, 2021 3:38 pmIn standard English "inflammable" means the same as "flammable".Capitaneus Fractus wrote: ↑Tue Aug 03, 2021 4:29 am I discover (and am very surprised) from the introduction that "inflammable" means "not flammable" in English (at the exact opposite of its French and Latin meaning from which the word was borrowed....

Originally I was going to use Crimson Rain as the basis for a mini-campaign but it didn't take off in terms of players, so the answer is..
At some point yes, though making these modules takes a lot of time and sometimes money for the various softwares.

Just wanted to say a big thank you for this conversion, it is absolutely top-notch, and the same goes for your earlier work with the 3rd edition conversions. The artwork is also amazing!
If you're ever doing an updated verison of Eureka, you might want to add the Heal skill to Kugelschreiber's profile, since he is described in the adventure (p6, The Morning After) as being an excellent physician.
Thanks again!
