When does Halflings' Resistance (Chaos) talent apply?
Like the subject line says, when does the Resistance (Chaos) talent possessed by Halflings apply? Mutations, disease, and magic each have their own entry as examples under Resistance--and then there's the redundancy in the names of the Dwarfs' Magic Resistance and Resistance (Magic), which function quite differently. So, what specific tests does Resistance (Chaos) apply to?
tests to acquire corruption from a minor source. the exact rules for resistance are on page 143
what that means is.....almost entirely up to the GM because of how those rules are written. chaos corruption is handled with all the detail of an astrologer trying to gauge how much cash they can get out of you, presumably for more story flexibility but defining what causes corruption, if it's because of chaos, and if it's a minor source are all entirely abstract because of course they are.

Resist Chaos is about resisting Corruption. The Halfling auto-passes the first test each session with SL equal to TB, then gets a bonus SL on all successful resistance tests afterwards in that session.

Yes, this is it. I think maybe the errata clarifies it?SigmariteOrWrong wrote: ↑Sun Jan 31, 2021 3:05 am Resist Chaos is about resisting Corruption.
