Hey everyone!

I'm relatively new to the field of Warhammer Roleplay, been GMing for it about a year now but have been DMing for over 15 years in various other fields such as 3.0-3.5, and Pathfinder, Paladium, and Rogue Trader. Long story short I have fallen madly in love with 2E but considering it is essentially a dead game, I have really been working at taking bits and pieces from other games and creating my own little Frankenstein's monster so to speak.

The big thing that I want to do is introduce a lot of systems from Zweihander and bring them into Warhammer 2E. Part of me just wants to play Zweihander, but on the flip side I just can't help but still love 2E and want to play that. That's a struggle for another day though haha.

The first thing I want some help on is introducing specific talents or abilities for each career in the same way that Zweihander does it. I really loved the idea that you'd get a special something from each career and want to bring that into 2E but some of the careers are really hard to come up with an original idea for. Now a lot of these I (rather shamelessly I might add) copy pasted almost word for word from the Zweihander books, this worked pretty well for a lot of them, others I've come up with some things myself that are reminiscent from other game systems. But there's a LOT of careers in 2E than there are in Zweihander and figured I'd see if you guys had some ideas!

Thanks for taking the time to look!

This is really good.

One of the WFRP2 weak points were, that Careers could have used more unique Talents (like in ZWEIHÄNDER). Some start to be too much the same. Also, others are missing some sort of "edge" that defines, that this careers is specialist in some field.

Hey thanks for the comment! Big fan of your website and contributions to wfrp. I've used a lot of information that I've found from your old strike to stun posts and stuff from your site.

I couldn't agree more, the second I saw it in zweihander I knew it was something I wanted in my homebrew of 2e. But damn are there ever a lot of careers in 2e makes it a big chore to try and find a unique thing for each. The nice thing is that a lot of them are pretty rare so I can kind of save those for later.

There is a lot careers in WFRP2. That is part why they started to become too similar. I would have started probably tryin to "fix" Basic Careers first. Then move forward to next Tier and so on. Many careers are handled just giving re-roll possibility to main skill(s)…

I also like ZWEIHÄNDERs Drawback idea, it works in Warhammer well.
