Re: Death on the Reik Update
Cubicle 7's latest expression of optimism is to claim the PDF of DotR will be available in three weeks.

Re: Beyond The Enemy Within campaign, upcoming releases
Interesting points. I found WFRP 2nd Edition to be a mixed bag in this regard. The Kislev sourcebook I thought was excellent, Knights of the Grail not so much, however I thught it was about as good as it could be given the mess that GW had made of Bretonia. It's a shame as WFRP 1st ed Bretonia would...

Re: Beyond The Enemy Within campaign, upcoming releases
... the events with Andy Law and Ben Scerri ... Are there any sources to still my curiosity about what happened at the time? Someone on (I think) RPG.net's forum claimed there to be a rumour of an ethical issue. However, I realise I'm spreading a rumour of a rumour but that's all I've seen/heard.

Re: Beyond The Enemy Within campaign, upcoming releases
Until C7 starts being more accurate about their product release deadlines and transparent when they can't meet one, I have no interest in what they have planned for the future because they can't meet my needs for the present. I am not interested in C7 becoming the Cleveland Browns/Sacramento Kings ...

Re: Beyond The Enemy Within campaign, upcoming releases
doing everything strictly from the view of the Riekland, eh? not really what i'm here for. there's a whole empire and beyond to explore and honestly Riekland is the dullest bit of it. I'm not sure it's the dullest, but it's definitely the most done. No mention here of the campaign that Gav Thorpe i...

I was surprised it took this long for a Nurgle reference.

Re: Death on the Reik Update
Yes, sorry, everything in parenthesis are just my speculation. It was only publicly announced that "The Vengeance of the Gravelord" would be the "Part 1 of a sequence of adventures that run parallel to the Enemy Within, including an adaption of the WFRP 1st edition classic, Carrion u...

Re: Death on the Reik Update
I remember Carrion up the Reik (I love that name) being mentioned, but I thought the rest was speculation. TBH I'm finding keeping the info from Cubicle 7 straight tiresome and confusing.

Re: Death on the Reik Update
FYI - Cubicle 7 are developing another large campaign that will follow The Enemy Within based largely in The New World. I believe Gavin Thorpe is author. There isn't much more info. It's been mentioned once or twice in interviews and podcats.

Re: Death on the Reik Update
The reordering might just refer to a reorganisation of the text without changing the sequence of events. I have pointed out before some problems with the organisation (eg https://awesomeliesblog.wordpress.com/2018/04/10/the-enemy-within-the-bloggers-cut/), and there was similar reorganisation in En...

Re: Death on the Reik Update
I was forgetting Night of Blood was in there. Now I'm going to have to read through TRD again and see if I can read anything more into Graeme Davis' offhand vague statement.

Re: Death on the Reik Update
Was there any info on timing? Release dates and such? What we got is that the artwork is almost complete for the DotR with layout to follow (this is from the previous dev diary, so probably March since nobody likes putting dates on things any more). It looks like the Companion will follow on, so li...

Re: Death on the Reik Update
Yes, you're correct about Grapes of Wrath, however, I got the feeling that a little more may be taken from The Restless Dead, but that might just be my interpretation. I remember us playing TRD instead of SRiK (our GM just winged it :)) Graeme Davis claimed the reordering is based upon feedback over...

Enemy Within Updates (plus other stuff)
Hi guys, Current events have had me distracted and after finally checking Drive Thru RPG today, it turns out I have two developer diaries I hadn't received an email for  The most interesting info is that a new subplot has been created from The Restless Dead and Carrion up the Reik which will a...

Re: Welcome!
Hi. Things seem a bit busier in here of late :) I'd like to know what you make of playing Heart of Glass. I've read through all the Ubersreik Adventures and that was the one I really wasn't sure about. It reads well, but it is very railroaded and feels like it's a big adventure compressed down too s...

Re: 4th Edition Fumble Tables
I like it, and may even use it!
This isn't a criticism as I know it's a lot of work but having more than a single fixed "oops" per double would be nice. That would mean a big proliferation of options though.

Re: Income & Social Status - Silver/Gold Divide.
Does it state that the status maintenance only occurs during out of town adventures? My understanding was that it happened at all times or at the very least when you were in between adventures in towns. It doesn't really specify. I strongly suggest using judgement here. My confusion was that it app...
