Re: Questions on magic rules and mutations
Seems, yep, you'll be stuck for a while. Otherwise you'd roll against your own original spellcasting success roll to dispell the effects. Great questions. I'd say no to gear chaning, you are not chaning the clothes in any way, just your own form. For wounds I'd likely ask your GM for a ruling in th...

Questions on magic rules and mutations
Hello again, another round of questions that came up during play: - Ending spells: on p. 236 corebook under “duration“ it says that I may not simply end an active spell of mine but may only try to dispel it. Does that really mean that when I have cast Beast Tongue or Beast Form, which specify that I...

Re: 4th - Magic points?
Yeah, I only found this FAQ2 https://www.cubicle7games.com/4919-2/ that only says that it does not mean you don't have to roll a casting test. And admittedly, language Magick is explicitly mentioned in the talent description. Still, I'm rather sure to have read something at least semi-official that ...

Re: 4th - Magic points?
IIRC there's a FAQ or Errata that says that Perfect Pitch does not aid with Language Magick. But it does not change the rest of your analysis.adambeyoncelowe wrote: ↑Thu May 28, 2020 1:39 pm No. If you get Instinctive Diction and Perfect Pitch up, you can cast relatively quickly.

Re: Some advice for advancing my wizard
Again, sorry for the delay in responding.
Anyway, I'll ask the GM if he'd oppose to me taking talents from a former level (at least when I have already taken them once). I think he already mentioned once that he'd be ok with that. Thanks!

Re: Some advice for advancing my wizard
Thanks for your reply and sorry in the delay. You're of course right about not being able to take Talents from earlier career steps but since I haven't yet changed the career it's no problem to say, I'll take Aetheric attunemt and then advance to level 2. But pointing this out has made me realize th...

Some advice for advancing my wizard
Hello all! First post after some time of lurking. I found relatively few sites discussing WFRP 4th edition and I'm not hip enough for Discord. So, I hope you don't mind me posting the occasional question here as my regular group can't meet up at the moment. I played WFRP 1st edition when I was a kid...
