Re: Typos, Missing Text & Errors In 4th Edition Books
What is wrong with Cubicle 7 that they can’t get these things right, especially when the release schedule has been so sparse giving them plenty of time, or even properly care about correcting them. These books aren’t cheap. I have to stymie my dismay by realising what I would have felt like if I’d ...

Re: Typos, Missing Text & Errors In 4th Edition Books
My favourite is 'Ducy of Ubersreik' on the back of Ubersreik adventures. The CE version of Enemy in Shadows has a different sum of money for the adventurers needed poster in the physical handout versus the one in the book. This is particularly astonishing as johnfinnswife observes with the copy + pa...

Re: Death on the Reik Update
I wonder how much of that is actually new content. It looks like the River Life Of The Empire has been expanded on. The Emperor Luitpold appeared in the Warhammer Companion. I think Vengeance Of The Gravelord is at least based on a previous publication, but it's not one i ever had and i can't quite...

Re: Death on the Reik Update
I'd be very interested to know what people think of that. I've been putting off ordering DotR and its Companion. A quick chapter list with page count (rough - I've just copied the headings from the ToC): PREFACE 1 and GUEST COMMENTARIES 3 (Includes James Wallis justifying sinking your boat) CHAPTER...

Re: Enemy in Shadows - Missing text?
Fair enough. The last thing I want is this to spring off into an EU debate as I'm fed up of them. Either way, we're left without a proper forum for feedback to the published PDFs. The only mechanisms we have are emails to their support department or the google docs form, which is really just designe...

Re: Enemy in Shadows - Missing text?
Might be the EU privacy legislation. it was that. their law about cookies doesn't actually understand how the internet works and makes forums nearly impossible to run, sort of how if you passed a law saying stores had to record every footprint left inside of them and report it to the government in ...

Re: Enemy in Shadows - Missing text?
Is there an official place for feedback? DotR has an issue in one map, where the rivers are not correctly indexed. They have a google docs page but it expired mid July, I think submitted about a dozen responses, most were text/layout errors and a few comments on difficulty and rewards. It's damn fr...

Re: Rules for sailing on the Rivers
The DoTR Companion will contain them. The rules were supposed to be in the main book, but they decide to swap them with Carrion up the Reik, originally intended to be in the Companion.

Re: Letter question (Enemy Within spoiler)
Gideon has no idea who the Characters are, or what the bounty hunter wanted with them, and at this point it does not care. The fact that it inadvertently saved the very people who will prove to be the biggest threat to his scheme is simply dramatic irony." The Changer of the Ways works in myst...

Re: It's your funeral
Anyone else read this small adventure "It's your funeral" already? I appreciate that C7 is publishing those small adventures and I like these rough-nights-like adventures in general. The plots in this one don't have very unexpected twists, but the combination of the subplots makes it fun....

Wow, I thought I read all the posts in your Blog, but it seems I was wrong. The best way to avoid missing them is to read them all from the beginning... https://awesomeliesblog.wordpress.com/2016/12/03/hello-world/ I went through one or two blog posts a day after discovering them. They're gre...

Re: Death on the Reik Update
This was discussed on my blog by Derrick Norton, who wrote the ending of the published PBT. The original draft version ended with an audience with the Graf and the repeal of the taxes. There was no attempt to replace the Graf with a doppelganger or showdown with Karl-Heniz Wasmeier. Norton added th...

Re: Death on the Reik Update
The original ending being a previously unpublished ending? I believe so. The explanation was the original ending was hastily rewritten because The Horned Rat was dropped and SRiK was still being written, hence it was very abrupt. Of course, I don't know how different the ending we got in PBtT was f...

Re: Barge rules
Soon my adventurers will be sailing up and down the Reik in a barge of their own and I want the trips to be more than: "Ok, you passed your Sail test. Smooth sailing from here to Altdorf". I just bought Death on the Reik, partly because I thought those rules would be there. I havn't found...

Re: Death on the Reik Update

It contains a very nice introduction to Power Behind the Throne's backstory and covers some of the changes to expect: Content is reordered for readability, similar to DotR The ending is rewritten back to the original to flow directly to The Horned Rat The Companion will contain ...

Re: Death on the Reik Update
Before we do that I need to make sure that I know all the facts. Is page 6 of the original DotR the only one with such pictures? I thought there were more, but it may just be the imagination from the good old days.... Apart from this particular illustration, I am happy, for any newly depicted scene...
