Re: Bundle of holding, why without Doomstones 5?
Sharing Gideon's additional article on the original plans for Doomstones 5: https://awesomeliesblog.wordpress.com/2021/03/28/lost-warhammer-the-fifth-doomstone-2/ I can only recommend reading the blog post! As commented there this is a fantastic piece of information from the past. Thanks again to Gi...

Re: WFRP Starter Set characters - XP query
As far as I know, the starter set only includes petty magic rules. That's why Ferdinand has petty magic spells only.

Re: Empire Military Organization
I suggest some type of siege, ideally once for both sides. Also you can use war machines. I would also consider some naval action. deliver and receive a volley of cannon balls, getting of of a sinking battle ship, maybe.

I own a copy of the original RPG book. Found it when FLGS sight seeing on a business trip.
The story is okay, if you like battles as part of an RPG session.

Just speculating: if the horned rat leads TEW into the Grey Mountains, lichemaster might be a suitable interlude.

Re: [Help Needed] Ritual Magic - lore of Metal (WFRP2)
Adding a pointer to a little bit of lore from the black library: in the second part of the Slaves to Darkness trilogy, one character receives a dwarfen replacement of a body part. I don't want to go into more detail to not spoil. The trilogy was interesting to read, BTW. A lot of lore for Norsca, wi...

Re: Enemy Within Updates (plus other stuff)
I just skimmed through PbtT. My first impression is from reading the small parts that I could identify as new. I like that there's a continuation of the post castle wittgenstein part of DotR. I cannot judge on the quality yet, because I did not read details. I also like that the leads from DotR are ...

Re: Enemy Within Updates (plus other stuff)
End Times are mentioned in C7 books already. Wasn't the overall plan for WFRP4 to marry the setting of WFRP1/TEW-org with the ET?
I agree, though. I am not looking forward to the ET.

Re: Enemy Within Updates (plus other stuff)
It's about time. TEW 1+2 were good enough for just a conversion to 4e. Now things get more political and have to be adjusted.

Re: Official WFRP module for Foundry VTT released!
I agree. I am using Fantas Grounds a lot for DnD, and the lack of official VTT support for WFRP4 kept me there. Now that content is available in foundry, I just bought the license.
Need to learn how to use it, though.
And we are going to play WFRP4 instead of DnD.

Re: Eye for an Eye 4E conversion
One reason might be that you can use 1e and 2e modules more easily in 4e.
3e modules probably need to be reworked.

Re: Death on the Reik Update
Oh, and that's why I am really looking forward to your second part on what might come, Gideon. I just yesterday browsed through the Rough Nights and the Ubersreik guide. There are quite a few nobles, which could be on different sides in Empire in Ruins. Jungfreud especially, but also the Sudenland s...

Re: Death on the Reik Update
I keep repeating myself, but in the end what counts for me regarding TEW from C7 are parts 4&5. To some extent, how PbtT gets more accessible.
Regarding the purple hand there is room for fleshing them out in parts 3-5. If that is done, I am fine.

Re: Middenheim: City of the White Wolf
So C7 plans a companion per part of TEW, altogether 5 companions.
In Addition they plan a source book for Middenheim and Altdorf, each.
Correct?

Re: Middenheim: City of the White Wolf
Isn't Middenheim: City of the White Wolf the same as the PbtT companion? I thought so. Then I thought the companion came after the adventure. So I thought PbtT would come Q4. Probably I thought way to much.
