I am sure there is room. But they had better keep it down or the neighbors may call the collages, or witch hunters, on them.Capitaneus Fractus wrote: ↑Wed Aug 28, 2019 1:22 am Still, there is room for non-teclitian elementalists and alchemists in Warhammer Fantasy!

Re: Origins of the Gods.
Just gonna throw in that my concept of divinity in Warhammer is influenced by Greek mythology (love that stuff) an the Artesia RPG (which is also based on Greek mythology to a degree :P) which has rules for ascending to godhood upon your death. To me certain beings were gods from the start and have ...

Re: Heresy Unleashed: Have AoS Battletomes something to offer?
Just want to say that I've gone through the "Maggothkin of Nurgle" Battletome to the AoS. And this is my impressions from it. The art in it was absolutely beautiful. Wonderful and invocative pictures of the creatures and followers of Nurgle. Secondly it had an interesting discussion about ...

Re: Thousand Thrones
Sorry for thread-necromnacy but I wanted to make a suggestion in regards to the infamous chicken hunt. And I didn't think it deserved a whole new thread. That is to replace the chicken hunt with a cow hunt. The benefits here are that a cows are worth more and so would justify offering the players a ...

Re: Undead (vampires) in Old World
To my Warhammer it wouldn't work that it was common knowledge, but I don't at all find it odd that certain taverns have a certain appeal or draws on a certain group as their cliental. For example I would think that there are taverns that caters to Ulricans, to Halfling merchants, to Dwarf masons and...

Re: Enemy Within Volume Three announced!
There was an official campaign, set just after The Enemy Within (in 2515 IC), announced in three parts (among whom, only the first one was published by Descartes Éditeur, the historical French publisher of WFRP1 who held rights from Games Workshop not only to translate Games Workshop, then Flame, t...

Re: Enemy Within Volume Three announced!
I should get on with my Perilous Realm Bretonnian campaign then, set in Quenelles and Athel Loren. :D Good, good. Now after Enemy Within we only need a sourcebook for Bretonnia and perhaps a small campaign set in that part of the Old World and it will make my decade. :) Please do. I'll be looking f...

Re: New Careers?
Anyway, the main point is that if all you want is a list of what careers are available in each edition, 3rd is comparable to the others ( and there is a comprehensive list of 3rd edition careers if anyone is interested ). The careers work a bit differently in some ways due to the mechanics of the e...

Re: Imperial Calendar
Thank you for this suggestion. Is Mórrslieb erratic enough to be able to be new moon one day, full moon th day after and half moon the day that follow? Can it go reverse? Yes. It's apparently possible (and not uncommon) for it to simply not show up some nights, or to stay unmoving in the sky for ni...

Re: Imperial Calendar
Have someone an idea (or some sources) on how could be determined random lunations of Morrsliebe and eclipses of the Sun, of Mannsliebe and of Morrsliebe? I can't help you with lunar and solar stuff, but I can say that I wrote up the following little things for Morrslieb, about one and half year ag...

Re: New Careers?
Some other suggestions for the first part of the Highwayman Career may be; Footpad (may or may not work due to the fact that the character is supposed to get mounted, but may also work because the character supposedly is not yet mounted), Robber or Land Pirate.

Re: New Careers?
If this career is intended to follow, somewhat, the romantic idea of the Highwayman, rather than that of them as greedy and violent brutes, maybe the term "Knight of the Road" could work? https://www.thefreedictionary.com/knight+of+the+road EDITED: Or maybe the careers can offer chances t...

Re: New Careers?
i remember several careers in 3rd revolved around having special equipment as part of the career rather than skills, so i think it might be best to overlook it. I may take you to literal here, but I don't really see the problem with a equipment-basis for a career as opposed to skill-basis. There ar...

Re: New Careers?
not sure you should have to take a separate career just to not be a prick at doing your job, even if it is highway robbery. I agree, but I was more thinking that the characters get to pick between alternatives depending on which way the highway robbery is done. So for example Ranged (Crossbow) OR M...
