Re: Ghosts of nonhumans

There was a dwarf ghost in Doomstones: Death Rock - Yazeran is quite a major character in fact.

Monuments of the Reikland

Hello, I'm not particularly comfortable promoting my own work, but Wolf suggested that I did in the 4e forum, so that gets me off the hook. My conscience is now clear . Last week Cubicle 7 released a pdf that I wrote - the first official thing I've had published for WFRP. Although it's designed for ...

Yes. There's an NPC with stats, a bloodsedge and a few references to skills, but nothing that would stop it working with other editions.

Just need to think of a non-obnoxious way to promote it!

Re: Death on the Reik Update

I'm excited that 'Monuments of the Reikland' came out today - it's the first official thing I've had published for WFRP. I was going for something based heavily in the background but with plenty of opportunities to give GMs something to actually use. I hope people enjoy it. I was absolutely delighte...

Re: Warhammer Old World, a.k.a. WFB returns.

GW will want to differentiate this from Age of Sigmar and probably reflect the Total War game... so I expect they'll go for an aesthetic which is lower fantasy than AOS. References to square bases suggest it's going to be more unit-based and less about skirmish.

I'm cautiously optimistic.

Dodgy dealings in the city (inspiration)

This is an interesting source of inspiration for con men, dodgy characters, thieves and other ne'er do wells: http://spitalfieldslife.com/2019/06/14/the-strangers-guide-to-london-o/ Some of the scams (like the ring-dropper) could be brief encounters to add local colour to a city, but others might be...

Re: Warhammer novels, and short stories

I agree with everything Wolf said above. I'd also recommend the Black Plague series by C.L. Werner if you're interested in a historical setting which shows a truly venal and corrupt Emperor. There's some high fantasy business with Van Hal and his undead, but it starts fairly small scale. The Luthor ...

That's the Schaffenfest surely? Rows of tents and bunting etc.
