Re: Averland Sourcebook: The Electorless Province

Happy to help!

There are still communities of 3e players around on Facebook and Discord if you use either of those. Both get a bit more activity than here.

Re: Averland Sourcebook: The Electorless Province

It wasn't on my list of WFRP3 resources for some reason, but here you go: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1EgC ... ue&sd=true

Rick Priestley on WFB 1st-3rd editions

A great video here of Rick Priestley talking about the early editions of Warhammer Fantasy Battle:

Re: WFRP 2024 Plans

You're right, I completely forgot that FFG picked up the license and finished the last couple of 2e supplements before 3e. What I did remember was the downgrade from only hardback full colour to softback monochrome with costs and sales cited. Fair enough. I didn't know about the reason behind switc...

Re: WFRP 2024 Plans

How did the licensing end for 2e and 3e? For 1e I remember that James Wallis gave it back and it wasn't revoked. I have no information to doubt this official version. I was just being a bit facetious as we never get an elf supplement. I'm not sure about 1e, but 2e just stopped making money. Not sur...

Re: Lustria is out!

Excellent review Thanks for this really thorough and detailed review! The 5th edition Lizardmen book was my first ever Warhammer purchase (although I never got round to collecting an army), so Lustria has likewise always been special to me. I watched the changes over the editions of the wargame and...

Booooo! ;)

But seriously, enjoy. It's a great campaign, although we found that it starts a bit slow.

Re: The Enemy Within -- any sources for cards?

Everything except the Marks and condition cards are unique as far as I can tell from a quick look at the complete component list. If you've already started the campaign, you won't need the background cards, as they're only used for character creation. And you can easily make do without the creature ...

Re: Resources for adding Steampunk elements?

Main Gauche has suggestions for "Fantastic Machines", but no rules as such - you have to collaborate with the GM to create them using the Crafting rules. And the assumption is that they work on Zweihander's equivalent of warpstone, so not sure how useful that would be for converting to WFR...

Re: WFRP: Dice Pooler Edition?

Thanks for the tip. I liked the Star Wars one more than I did WFRP3. Fantasy Flight couldn't help themselves with all the tokens and cards, and I felt like it distracted from the roleplaying. Ideally, I would steal ideas that work from every edition, so I will certainly check it out. Happy to help!...

Don't know if it's of any use to you, but some people are working on a version of WFRP to use with FFG's Genesys system (the spiritual successor to WFRP3): https://www.facebook.com/TheOldWorldGenesys/

The Voyage of Yin-Tuan was originally published in the WFB 5e Lizardmen army book, so it's actually been around even longer!

Re: How long do Cubicle 7 take to respond?

Back in March I sent some erratas for a supplement that wasn't on the online form. Heard back almost straight away from two different people. Did the same thing again a week or so later and never got a response, not even automated.

Re: New Campaign! 'Anarchy in Averland'

Nice idea. My players were actually shocked to learn that the 3e version (which we've been playing on and off for a while) isn't the same as the original. One minor issue: only Part 1 of 3e TEW is set in Averland, the other two (main) parts are set in Middenheim and Altdorf. Also, just to add to the...

Good stuff! Not sure I'll have a use for it in my WFRP games, but it all makes sense. I especially like the clarification of Career, Title and Role.

Emailed C7 with the errors I spotted last week, and Shrines of Sigmar has now been added to the errata form (although it's not on the list of documents included in the errata form).
