Re: Death on the Reik Update

To say it's an update of Carrion Up the Reik is not really accurate. The plot of 4e's Carrion Up the Reik is basically:- The PCs encounter 3 Monks of Sigmar, including Brother Marcus from the original Carrion, who join them on their way to Altdorf again. While they are on the boat they are attacked ...

Re: Death on the Reik Update

It's a few elements of Carrion up the Reik reworked into an overly scripted sidequest. Bit disappointing really.

Re: NergalCon

I enjoyed this very much - the only issue we had is that Rangdo is a heretic who uses a Mac and worse, Safari. This non-conformist found Foundry VTT didn't work correctly for him. Didn't prove to be too much of an issue though. :D

Re: Mirror of Desire 4E conversion

Well, yes & no, but since I doubt C7 will put them in the official numbering, I did it as technically they came out first. I started my playthrough on the podcast with Eye for an Eye. I'll probably finish it with Mirror as it might end up with PCs being ennobled, getting the mansion etc. Though with...

Re: Mirror of Desire 4E conversion

Well, it was more the layout, updating it to work with Starter Set locations and writing the 4th Chapter, providing the maps and rewriting sections of it kept me off the streets for a few months, but yeah, ok "medium-biggish undertaking". "massive undertaking" -most of that adventure is rules-neutra...

Mirror of Desire 4E conversion

Greetings all. This #WarhammerWednesday I'd like to share a massive undertaking - a 4e conversion of Mirror of Desire, an adventure set in Ubersreik. You can download it free at https://perilousrealm.itch.io/mirror and I hope you enjoy it. https://img.itch.zone/aW1hZ2UvNzQ2NjI3LzQxNjY0NTcuanBn/347x5...

Re: Bundle of holding, why without Doomstones 5?

I assume its simply because C7 haven't released it as a pdf yet. Can't say I'm impressed with Heart of Chaos myself, I could imagine my players throwing a hissyfit at the ending. Does anyone know, why Doomstones 5 is not included in the WFRP 1 bundle of holding? https://bundleofholding.com/presents/...

Re: WFRP Social Justice & Representation

I believe term is alt-right rather than nazis these days, but whatever. I do like gifs though. Anyway, enjoy yourself. Not really sure what you mean by that, but whining that someone's calling you a nazi is a similar sort of puerile argument to just calling everyone a nazi. Sorry I didn't have a coo...

Re: WFRP Social Justice & Representation

Sigmar's Justice & Peace Warriors The teaching of Sigmar's Justice & Peace Warriors (or SJPW) comes from the teachings of a heretical sect that originated in the cursed city of Mordheim in the mid-1990s. It's leader, Sister Sigrid Knauer, was a firebrand preacher whose heresies were denounced by mos...

Re: WFRP Social Justice & Representation

Yeah, that could work. I’m pretty sure the Cult of Solkan were mainly intended as a send-up of the lunatic fringe of the Christian Right, but they’d work just as well as Progressives. Claus Glinka’s moral crusade from the Genevieve novels could be another good option. There's a rather interesting G...

Re: WFRP Social Justice & Representation

Again, Herr Arnulfe, you're using fairly aggressive language to suggest that leftists (which I assume you identify with) have immutable characteristics that make them superior. In this case it is moral superiority, and a feeling of moral superiority, as we know, leads to justification of some pretty...

Re: WFRP Social Justice & Representation

Labelling leftists as more sensitive sounds like the kind of generalization and discrimination that social justice supposedly stands against.

The Vistani/Strigany/Gypsy cliche is a stereotype.
Leftists are sensitive and make better artists is a stereotype.

Re: WFRP Social Justice & Representation

Yes, I've been following the D&D debate a little and have to admit I was surprised Ravenloft getting a rewrite (that ironically has put me off buying the deluxe boxed set they've released). I was surprised that "classic" D&D settings are now considered racist, I only own 1 D&D 5e book (the PHB) as I...

Nope, but if I'm lumped in with him, alt-left it is.

Milo Yianopolis describes himself almost verbatim as you did, and he identifies as alt-right. I actually assumed you were trying to channel Milo above.
