So, warrior-wizard… Well, Malekith comes to mind. Tomb Kings, like Settra probably. Vampire Counts, like Vlad.

Re: Comparison with Zweihander
Back to original question. I like ZWEIHÄNDER system/engine/game mechanics. We have played some amount and it works. It's not perfect, but I have never really found fully perfect RPG system. I would have prefered some additional things or some things to be little different, but that is me. It still w...

Re: Enemy In Shadows Companion Available
About old timelines - The original Boxtree timeline has long been pretty outdated and contradicted by many later sources. But that is pretty common in Warhammer. Actually I think it already changed when we got to WFRP1 Warhammer Companion . When you change the years few years forward, the timeline a...

Re: Ties between Starter Set and Enemy Within
I read a bit about the starter set. It seems that it to some extent provides the background for TEW. My first idea has been that a friend of mine could GM the Ubersreik adventures. Those of you, who know the content of the ubersreik adventures, can you judge if we could run into spoiler issues for ...

By the way - this site, Winds of Chaos, actually has pretty good calender, which I like to use. Calenders of the Empire on this page: https://www.windsofchaos.com/?page_id=92

Re: Norsca: The Grim North of Perilous Adventure, version 2.0 (WFRP1, WFRP2, WFRP3)
However, though I still use the WFRP1 rules (in a modified state for my own house rules) I do actually have all the versions of the game, so I did notice the link on the WFRP3 rules "WFRP3 Cards: Northmen Careers (.zip)" content appears to be broken? It's coming back as "Sorry, the file you have re...

Norsca: The Grim North of Perilous Adventure, version 2.0 (WFRP1, WFRP2, WFRP3)
Hi, Updated version of my Norsca sourcebook and game system/engine (WFRP1, WFRP2, WFRP3) based rules are finally here: Kalevala Hammer: Norsca news But, no WFRP4 rules yet. I have started to create some rules and probably continue, but have waited more rules about Chaos (careers, mutations, magic......

Re: Enemy In Shadows Companion Available
Elector situation in 2512 and other fluff there is pretty interesting considering situation in circa 252X. I guess it depends what is going to be canon in fourth edition. When The Enemy Within was first released i don't think there were any future events that needed considering. True. But now there...

Re: Enemy In Shadows Companion Available
Elector situation in 2512 and other fluff there is pretty interesting considering situation in circa 252X. Very exited to see how story goes, when they get to the final parts of the TEW. I still think the civil-war is happening... And why is Prince Luitpold banished away? Wolfgang is named heir… Com...

Re: Warhammer Old World, a.k.a. WFB returns.
Interesting news. I have wondered - How successful has Age of Sigmar actually been ? Has it been able to bring new generation of young players to Warhammer ? How much did they lose old WFB fans ? Has it been commercial success ? GW certainly has put great effort to AoS, but still… It was little stra...

Re: Playing in Norsca
Always interested to talk about Norsca. And If I finally could finish new version about the region sourcebook I have, probably should do some additional WFRP4 rules there too. I have just waited little if Cubicle would eventually get to some Chaos sourcebook. Official Norsca seem pretty much just Ch...

Re: Enemy Within Rewards for nonhumans.
Original TEW ending reward options were really generous. Simple, but pretty good reward, could be just title (minor nobility, knighthood), little lands somewhere, and huge amount of money. And off course medal for being Champion of the Empire. Yet, anything can happen. Even Protector of Talabecland ...

Re: Does anyone know anything about Bögensee?
Actually there is something in the Enemy in Shadows . Quote from Temple of Bögenauer (patron deity of Bögenhafen) in Bögenhafen: "There is no priest at the temple, but on festival days priests of the Cult of Bögenauer travel from Bögensee (a small town near the source of the River Bögen in the Grey ...

Re: Does anyone know anything about Bögensee?
It was on Andy Laws map back in 2010. Where did he get it? It's possible that it's from some story or background fluff. You know - it could be just mentioned on somewhere. But seems pretty large place considering its very dead-end and remote location. Maybe mining? And if you look real carefully fro...

Re: End Times: Nagash - The 'Bad'
Is the "High Magic" going to be in the "Ugly" topic ? During The End Times the magic starts to become much more powerful. This is partly explained by the destruction of Vortex. But, Vortex is destroyed after the rising of the Wall (Auric Bastion) and the Domes (the Wall of Fate & the Wall of Bones) ...

Well, various Chaos Cult activity is something what comes to mind. It is one those days, when small rifts between become large and large become immense, and daemonic incursion do happen. Summoning is much more easier. As Dhar flows more powerfully, also Necromancers may find this good moment to do t...
