year ago I made a stab at this for the for the Light, Bright, Amethyst and Amber collages. Unfortunately I stopped there as no one was playing any other collages in my campaign at the time.

Re: 2nd edition wardancer rules
Yeah, that was a draft of one of the last four things I was working on converting over when Second Edition stopped being produced in house at GW. It used a lot of Andy's art but I am not sure it was ever signed off on or who initially released that draft on the web (Although I can guess.) I think it...

Re: The Southern Chaos Wastes
I guess I always envisioned it as Antarctica. Its massive but empty. There's not really much for chaos to corrupt apart from the odd penguin. Where as the northern realms are unbelievably busy, with multiple warring tribes, any sentient being you come across is probably very, very isolated. Which I ...

That's an outstanding issue from terror in Talbhiem. If it where me, I would give them Specialist Weapon Two handed instead of Frenzy.

Re: A few questions.
Does witchcraft allow mixing of lores? I know normally you can't. Yes: That's more or less the only mechanical advantage to it. Does allowing elves more than one lore break the game? I doubt it. But I have never tried. The compendium hunter, should they get animal care/training and rode now that th...

Re: Richard Halliwell
He more or less wrote the rules for the first edition of Warhammer Fantasy Battle, so yes he was pretty important.
Also he did Space Hulk, which I played a lot.

Grey Mountain Gold So, I grabbed an adventure pretty much at random, and go 'Grey Mountain Gold'. A PDF that costs £5 (which strikes my Yorkshire heart as somewhat pricey) but is also available as part of Ubersreik Adventures vol II. Its 17-pages long, including adverts. Given the reviews MadMarkus...

Re: Monuments of the Reikland
Last week Cubicle 7 released a pdf that I wrote - the first official thing I've had published for WFRP. Although it's designed for 4e, the content is fairly edition-neutral, with only a few rules specific to the latest iteration. I am late to the party, but yes - this is excellent work. I really en...

Re: Reviews and opinions of WFRP 4e adventures
The financial rewards for PCs completing the Oldenhaller Contract were not insignificant. I think, as Robin says, there's a difference between 'grim and perilous' and 'miserable and hopeless'. yeah, i think that's a very good point. I like Warhammer to be grim (I'm a northerner, what do you expect)...

Re: Reviews and opinions of WFRP 4e adventures
It's interesting that you say that - I'd actually identify the beginning of that 'blood, shit and misery' approach to James Wallis and Hogshead Publishing, which would technically still be 1st edition. I think the Oldenhaller Contract has a pretty good claim on being the start of it, and that's fro...

Are the player enjoying the game? Are you enjoying the game? Is this actually a problem that needs fixing?
If it is a problem: What are you players goals? What do they want? Why should they engage with the plot?

Re: WFRP 2 career advances
That's all correct. I would very much discourage anyone from choosing to pay the 200xp to leave a career early, it does somewhat screw up the system. One of the reasons is, yes you theoretically have to go back and remove the advances they have not taken from their advance scheme, which when I had t...

Re: Any canon examples of characters using both might and magic?
As well as the Elf Ranger I mentioned above, another idea (although you would need to rework it a lot i suspect) is they way Defenders of the Forest at Liber Fanatica handled Wardancers, where they changed to Dances to spells. This is all pretty weak in terms of suggestions but I am really strugglin...

Re: Any canon examples of characters using both might and magic?
This is hard to answer tbh. Fiction tends not to make this distinction as fiction does not measure time in rounds in the first place. In first edition WFRP I do not believe this is possible, by anyone. In second edition WFRP Dart (and indeed Fire Ball) are half actions so can be combined with a Stan...

Re: Fan made?
Good catch. TBH that page probably has all the information in Dreadfleet anyway, I don't get the impression it was particularly in depth? Although the possible Nagash connection is quite interesting. Although we are possibly getting away from the main point, if you need magical construct-type things...

Re: Fan made?
Elementals (in the traditional sense of fire, water, air, earth) are part of Arabyan magic, at least as per the Arabyan character in Dreadfleet who can summon them. I don't think there's ever been an official source on Araby and how their magic works though. I think those are Sea Nymphs, Tempest Dj...

Re: Fan made?
Elementals last appeared for Warhammer Fantasy Battle in Storm of Magic which I think was published in 2010.
By Storm of Magic I obviously meant to write Monstrous Arcanum of 2012.

A fine collection of material that I have often referred too: Both when playing and writing my own stuff.
