Re: Disguising Elf as Human?

As a GM, I'd rule that any "disguise" for an elf to pass for human would probably make the elf stick out -even more-. This would be the deeply hooded and oversized black cloak, covering one's face with a thick scarf, etc.

Your best bet would be shadow magic, and that's assuming you have access.

Re: What Enemy Within material to purchase after the Enemy

I second Zekiel there. Both of those books are fantastically useful for running TEW. Without going into spoilers, the Middenheim book is pretty much a must have for Power Behind the Throne.

Once you have those, and your gaming budget allows, pick up Up in Arms and Winds of Magic. Neither really tie ...

Re: Regarding the unit die

Yeah, I see your point. But, as a GM, I read it as anytime there is a standalone "0" result it is read as a "10". Just don't make a fuss and argue with your GM. At the end of the day it's their call, and if they're running WFRP instead of 5e, they've got to be pretty cool.

Also, if you are doing ...

Re: Regarding the unit die

Per the core rule book (page 6), that would be a 10. Yes, Damaging and Impact weapons are scary.

EDIT: Sorry if I sounded like a pedant just then. I'm used to dealing with rules lawyers that need to see rule in the book before they see logic or reason....

Re: Defenses against spells

Yes, if the spell goes off, you eat it. But that doesn't mean you are defenseless. Touch based spells not only require the caster to touch you, but put themselves within convenient stabbing range. Also, the really scary spells are generally going to require a round or two of channelling to cast. The ...

Yup. Of course, ????? could also mean that we don't actually know what it says, let alone who wrote it or why.

If you're looking to run a game involving forbidden books/occult horror, you need to check it out.

Re: How long do Cubicle 7 take to respond?

I was in contact with them about two weeks ago regarding getting a replacement for a damaged book. I received a response, from a live person - not a mailbox, within about 2 business days. I was contacted by Cian (cianw@cubicle7games.com) and he was very helpful.

Hope that helps!
