The Ratter is looking for a new editor

Not sure if this belongs here or in the Fan Made section, but... in case anyone here doesn't know, The Ratter, the spiritual successor to Warpstone, is looking for a new editor for the next 5(?) issues. More on the Discord via Jay's webpage here.

Great work! Are you familiar with Le Grimoire's work on Araby? AFAIK, it's mainly WFB but there is some fluff as well.

Re: Beyond The Enemy Within campaign, upcoming releases

The latest production update announced a book on Salzenmund, which should be interesting. The north coast never got enough love outside of APW.

So what are people's first impressions of the new ending? I've not got it yet, but obviously I'm intrigued.

Re: 536 Adventures. Every. Single. One.

Sorry to have only just found this. It's absolutely fantastic work. I think it's missing my two one-sheets, though, The Arabyan Knight and The Estalian Prisoner: http://dailyempire.guildredemund.net/do ... one-sheets

Re: TOBCON 2021?

That's a shame. I got vacc'd this weekend and Germany is considering lifting travel restrictions for vacc'd and recovered people, so suddenly it was looking do-able again. I miss the comradeship too, but Tad will, as before, do yeoman's work setting up an online con again, I'm sure. And this time I ...

Re: TOBCON 2021?

Excellent. Germany's completely fucked up the vaccination campaign, so I've no idea if I'll be allowed to travel, but if I can, then I am definitely coming and GMing.

Re: Hero's Call: Cards, no books

Thanks for this. I decided to pass in the end. There might be someone who bought the pdfs while they were available and is looking for the cards.

Hero's Call: Cards, no books

I have the opportunity to get the cards from the Hero's Call expansion, although the books aren't included. Is this worth it? Are the pdfs of the 3e still available anywhere?

Strike-to-Stun, Pummel, Stunned, Unconscious

So, if I'm reading RAW correctly, S-t-S/Pummel only ever inflicts one Stunned condition (absent a crit), and although Stunned conditions stack, they never accumulate into an Unconscious condition. Is that correct?

Re: Middenheim: City of the White Wolf

I've posted my thoughts about the book in a quick review on Awesome Lies: https://awesomeliesblog.wordpress.com/2020/11/23/city-slicker/ Thanks for this. Your luke-warm reviews of the new TEW have been instrumental in me holding off from getting them right out the gate. It's great to hear that this...

Re: What and where is Zaiyon?

I was fairly sure it was a pun on Zion (assuming I'd read the script correctly). Yes, the script reads "Zaiyon". However, if we assume it reads "Saigon" (which is unlikely, though) we get another interesting pun. This one would refer to, depending on the perspective, either The Fall of Saigon or th...

Re: What and where is Zaiyon?

Yeah, I was fairly sure it was a pun on Zion (assuming I'd read the script correctly). I was wondering if it had been picked up anywhere else in the canon. I checked the gazetteer in Dwarfs: Stone & Steel and didn't find it. A quick skim of Empire in Flames came up empty too.

What and where is Zaiyon?

So I'm in the middle of replaying DotR and there's this handout: https://2.bp.blogspot.com/-CYkf7bojqaI/U5MOvKSuZFI/AAAAAAAACWo/FI7JA9oxf00/s1600/Temple+Note.PNG So the Dwarfs are going to return to Zaiyon(?), but I don't recall ever hearing anything else about this and it's the fourth(?) time I've ...

Re: Best object quests

Isn't 3e's Witch's Song a broken object quest too? No, you might be thinking of The Gathering Storm, which is a fairly classic broken object quest. It might not be that exciting/interesting for an experienced group, but it's a very good intro to the Warhammer world in that it has a variety of enemi...
