Numbers make a huge difference, as you indicated with your thugs example. Probably adding some henchmen to the troll is more efficient than giving him hardy and other boosts.
Nevertheless I understand your point, made similar experiences myself.

Re: The two views of Bretonnia
I am no expert on Bretonia, but the tension between the two ways could lead to interesting scenarios. You might have children of Arthurian nobles that aren't allowed to go to the Versailles like court in the capital. They could do any mischief. Another thing might be agitators for a revolution that ...

Re: Understanding the Pure Soul Talent
It's not that the talent gains you more corruption. You just can stand more corruption points. With WP- and T-Bonus of 3 you would have to roll against corruption as soon as you have more than six corruption points. If you have Pure Soul 2 you only need to role if you have more than eight.

Re: Cubicle 7 screw the WFRP community... again.
Partially crossposting, what I wrote in the rat catchers guild discord: C7 did something similar with UA1 and then made the right move with UA2, where you could preorder the whole book before all single adventures were out. It's disappointing that this wasn't possible with the reikland book, but you...

Re: WFRP 2024 Plans
I just watched an interview by the German Orkenspalter TV with Padraig from C7. He elaborates a bit on the campaign and a Chaos themed adventure (?), where they would like to delve into the world of mutants in the Empire that don't want to give in to the ruinous powers. https://youtu.be/V0WagESLxkM ...

I was just being a bit facetious as we never get an elf supplement. I'm not sure about 1e, but 2e just stopped making money.

Re: Papering over the big crack in Power Behind The Throne [spoilers]
I suggest reading Theo's great ideas on solving exactly this issue. https://theenemywithinremixed.wordpress.com/2022/08/18/a-less-linear-power-behind-the-throne-finale-part-i-the-finale-as-written/ Would be great to read, if anyone followed this. Re: WFRP 2024 Plans
On what's upcoming: while I am very happy that C7 is producing so much and I also appreciate the small PDF adventures, I have a growing feeling of disappointment that they don't have a small campaign or a full one book adventure further up in the pipeline. Or am I the only one preferring adventures ...

How did the licensing end for 2e and 3e? For 1e I remember that James Wallis gave it back and it wasn't revoked. I have no information to doubt this official version.

Re: Character advancement
Hi, I understand it this way: - you have access to advance all attributes that are marked for your current level and those below. Therefore you need 10 advances in all 4 attributes. - also you can advance all skills from your current level downward, so you have e.g. 14 available. You need 10 advance...

Re: Pirates of the Reik
Just to clarify, Rivers can have locks. I don't know about when the different locks were installed in our world's history, but you have locks on the Rhine. The lowest is roughly south of the city Karlsruhe, on the border between Germany and France. Also the Maas/Rhine delta in the Netherlands may ha...

Re: Pirates of the Reik
Well, this may quickly run into a discussion about the size of the empire and such, but I think you can at least rule for Yourhammer that the reik is wider. If you look at the image in the "off to Bögenhafen" chapter in EiS you even have the first prove that the reik must be quite wide at ...

The Ubersreik Adventures books include several short adventures. Some are a bit longer than a one shot, but I recommend looking into these.
