Re: Enemy in Shadows - Missing text?

I agree with most that you say, probably all. But, let's put this aside, since it is off-topic.

Re: Bundle of holding, why without Doomstones 5?

Sure, Hogshead released them in pairs. Since I own the original flame versions, I always think of heart of chaos as #5.
Should I offer my copy of part 5 to C7?
Or is there a copyright issue with #5?

Bundle of holding, why without Doomstones 5?

Does anyone know, why Doomstones 5 is not included in the WFRP 1 bundle of holding?

Re: Enemy in Shadows - Missing text?

Is there an official place for feedback? DotR has an issue in one map, where the rivers are not correctly indexed.

Re: Is Imperial polytheism realistic?

Just a thought to add to all the interesting points all of you made: Comparing to real world gods makes sense, but there is a big difference: in the old world you can assume these deities exist in some way. Miracles and the Warhammer rules prove it. In the real world we do not have that strong argum...

Re: Is Imperial polytheism realistic?

Arabyans or dwarfs maybe have their own gods for this. This could be one of their major ones covering that aspect or just their own version of handrich. I must admit that I am more story driven regarding the gods. I find this discussion interesting, but I don't need a complete or realistic pantheon ...

Re: Is Imperial polytheism realistic?

One could argue that this is because in the Warhammer world the gods actually exist - but if so, why would they adhere to country borders? It is clear for Sigmar, but a lot less for, say, Handrich or Morr. I could imagine a world where the Northern gods are particularly strong in Kislev, and the So...

Re: It's your funeral

I grabbed it the other day. I've only read through The Garden Morr section, which was a little useful. The map of the cemetery is not bad. My understanding was it was written at a convenction with people just throwing ideas around, so I'm not expecting the most polished supplement ever, but hopeful...

It's your funeral

Anyone else read this small adventure "It's your funeral" already? I appreciate that C7 is publishing those small adventures and I like these rough-nights-like adventures in general. The plots in this one don't have very unexpected twists, but the combination of the subplots makes it fun. I try not ...

Again wow! So if Empire in ruins is supposed to tie together loose ends, PbtT has to provide some additional ones.

Re: Death on the Reik Update

Wow, I thought I read all the posts in your Blog, but it seems I was wrong. Derrick's post is a great insight and your discussion just underlines that the key to the success of the director's cut of TEW is in parts 4+5. PbtT will give use some hindsight on how much Greame and C7 will tie the plots t...

Re: Death on the Reik Update

Before we do that I need to make sure that I know all the facts. Is page 6 of the original DotR the only one with such pictures? I thought there were more, but it may just be the imagination from the good old days.... Apart from this particular illustration, I am happy, for any newly depicted scene,...

Re: Death on the Reik Update

I agree, DotR did not need a big change from my perspective. I like that they added the Carrion on the reik stuff, because I own the pre Hogshead TEW books. I repeat myself, but in the end the success of WFRP 4 for me is absolutely depending on TEW 4+5. And, did I say that I am missing the illustrat...

Re: Enemy in Shadows: Thoughts and reactions

There is one iconic thing that is missing: art of the silly contact gestures in Altdorf. I was looking forward to the way that would look in the WFRP 4 style. Now I'm a little disappointed. Luckily I have the original. That art originally appears in Death on the Reik . Presumably we'll see some rec...

Re: 4th: timeline, campaign and play order?

A: absolutely possible, but you could also add single scenarios from rough nights at different points of the enemy within. One scenario actually is in Ubersreik. B: TEW starts in 2512, iirc. There is one Ubersreik adventure scenario, which is designed to lead from Ubersreik (starter set + Ubersreik ...

Re: NergalCon

Anyways, I would hope to see which VTTs everyone is going to use. I was planning on Foundry, but may have to switch to Maptool or Roll20. As I just wrote, I am on fantasy grounds. But because of the missing ruleset we are playing D&D with the available adventures. We do experiment with Ubersreik ad...

Re: NergalCon

I am regularly playing on fantasy grounds and monitoring their forum. My layman's understanding from there is that a publisher cannot prevent someone from creating a ruleset in a VTT. E.g. there's a WFRP2 ruleset for fantasy grounds. The protected intellectual property is just the descriptions, stor...
