Re: Enemy Within Updates (plus other stuff)
The Skaven section I feel are subpar to the 2nd edition source book, but no suprise there as the space is premium. Some interesting info tho. And the adventure ”Horror ...” seems to have problem with the map. It mentions ”Ambull”, are very grainy and there are map keys marked but no real explanation...

Re: Enemy Within Updates (plus other stuff)
I would hope that the developers at Cubicle 7 understand the difference between Middenheim, the Duchy of Middenheim, and Middenland (and, for bonus points, Nordland), such as they were, if they still are. I highly doubt so, i have lost any respect i ever would have for the hacks that are C7, they s...

Re: Middenheim: City of the White Wolf
Magical acquifers? I love Middenheim from its concept and aesthetics but it definitely lacks a little in design. Still, at least it no longer makes the population density of Skavenblight look like Greenland. After reading the PbtT I was actually thinking about having some of the water problems bein...

Re: Enemy Within Updates (plus other stuff)
Still annoying that the “secretive” Skaven openly attacks a inn to fetch a map! That is one thing thats really going to need a rework in my campaign!
Prolly going for something like a opportunistic Skaven trying to filch someting from a PC that they have picked up earlier.

Re: Comparison with Zweihander
i have always seen Zwei' as the result of that 3rd being as it was. A hobby project that got surprisingly much traction and grew into something bigger. That GW didn't bring forth the CD hammer has always amazed me tho. I thought perhasp they saw it as a way of getting rid of tiresome fanboys lamenti...

Re: Combat example
I second this "To be clear @CapnZapp, is this example of play an example of how combat should go, or an example of how combat shouldn't go?". I would like some thoughts and analysis to go with the example! As I'm still in gaming limbo I have to chance to test things out myself and have to ...

Re: Roughs Nights and Hard Days Impressions/Review
-Slaneesh is back with Deamonettes too- there's always deamons popping out everywhere in the Empire it seems.. Noooo, it is just around the PCs, a circumstance that should attract the attention of the Inquisitor-general pretty soonish. "Ahhh, we have a cluster of chaos nexi running around agai...

Re: unbalanced races
Bha, as other has commented, this has little to do with the stats or rules, WFRP4 has its problems here and there, but this isn't one of them (IMO). It is a perception fostered by the D&D fixation on levels, EL, ECL,HD etc etc. The difference between a Beggar and a Knight is bigger socially, res...

Re: The Enemy Within for Christmas.
Posted a little too quick, so sorry for spamming. Latest dev diary appeared on my drivethrurpg account today. It has a interview I'm yet to read but the pertinent info for this thread is that Enemy in Shadows is ready for release (PDF) and that the Companion will be about another two weeks away. Al...

Re: The Enemy Within for Christmas.
Okiii, this first book release do not include the companion? But it will be released for plebs like me at a later date I presume? I don't know if I'm going daft in my twilight years, but I find the Cubicle 7's information being a bit underwhelming.

Not to be too pessimistic, and dependent on how their pipeline works, if it not here now (or before the week is out), I don't expect to see it on this side of Yule.

Re: Major shake-up at Cubicle 7
If we don't TEWC this time around either then i will put forward a motion that we encourage Graeme et al to see if GW will let them crowdfund a TEWC directors bumper edition. I may be a tad bit too negative here, but i can't see GW ever even consider that. Tho my small dealings with GW are ancient ...

Re: Major shake-up at Cubicle 7
Same. This doesn't inspire the greatest confidence in other people picking up the ball for Andy Law. Replacing people and continuing operations isn't a instant thing, and it seems whole lead group of this team went away with short notice ... I expect things to be funky for quite a while. Some stuff...

Yeah, in the best case it is only ends in a delay of stuff, the worst case is .... well I find 4th useable with all the 2e stuff I have laying around.

I think it may have been something published either to a scenario competition or in a fanzine.

Looking for a scenario ... <spoiler>
I try to find a scenario that have mystriously dissapered in my collection and perhaps someone can tell me what name it has and Google -God then can direct me to the source. It was about a Village/City suffering from a plague, but actually it was the water that was poisoned from a wounded dragon up ...
