Re: Beyond The Enemy Within campaign, upcoming releases

I’d like to see something that hasn’t been done in previous editions. Elf sourcebook, maybe?

One simple houserule I want to test with my group is to keep Advantage working like it currently does, but in order to use it you have to spend it, so that you can no longer just accumulate it and use it passively.
I really like this idea. Keep us posted on how it goes.

Re: Comparison with Zweihander

Ok, let’s try to keep the tone light and friendly. I’d like to think of this forum as somewhere to have nice, calm discussions about the game(s) we enjoy.

Please keep it that way?

Re: Troll a la Morceaux: A Warhammer Recipe

Excellent stuff! I'm sure there must be at least one halfling chef who's attempted this only to have it go horribly wrong! (But just to note, there's some sort of error with the URL: it's auto-inserting "www.windsofchaos.com/forum/" at the beginning, which leads to a 404 error.) Fixed. Apparently i...

Re: Combat example

* The RAW Wizard gets an incredibly... raw... deal. Very few characters will experience being as kick-ass as my player's "Shadow Lawyer". Part of it is because of his experience; with several levels of the requisite Talents. But part of it is my introduction of Magic Points - aka "how to turn caste...

I would really like to know if this is related in any way with the exit of some of the top talent a while back.

It introduced color magic to WFRP 1. The reviews were mixed.

Yeah, I only checked their news page today as I was hoping the companion would be out. I know we've been doing it to death, but they really need to improve on their dissemination of information. Right. Why are they not emailing everyone on their list when this stuff comes out? I signed up to their ...

Read to the end of the thread. The guy who bought them may be willing to sell. Looks like he’s giving some to a gaming charity, so I’d hurry.

Re: First Edition Collection For Sale

I don't seem to have the option to compose private messages, so I can't reply to the PMs I've received. Similarly, I can't contact Admin. Any ideas/help? Interesting. I tried out your permissions and was able to compose a reply to PMs without a problem. Are you getting an error code or is there jus...

I never got an email notifying me that another dev diary was published, I just spotted it on drive thru RPG.
Same. This doesn't inspire the greatest confidence in other people picking up the ball for Andy Law.

Hi, A bit more feedback. A bit of a minor point, but any chance of adding bbcode support for tables? It could be nice for anyone who wants to put profiles up (we could leave a template somewhere)? I'll look into it. I'm a bit hesitant because if it's improperly implemented, it could screw up the fo...

Re: Criticals

Remember not to overcomplicate things. Regarding the many dice rolls with a crit is scored, we, at my table, use the original location where the hit was scored, for the critical hit too. Thats one less roll and it makes more sense anyway. Not overcomplicating things is my primary goal -- you guys w...
