fine job. bit awkwardly handled in regards to conveying movement, but that happens to everyone.

Re: unbalanced races

single out elves and dwarfs for harassment, basically. the fate points thing is largely a moot point unless you're already leaning on everyone much harder than the game suggests from what i've seen, as is the endevours penalty elves get (i've only seen one group use it and it was pretty much "take a...

Re: Adjusting the Initiate career

I've never had the issue of divine magic taking too long, and in fact found it frequently comes too damn early because of how powerful it often is over all. personally i required most divinely empowered types to undertake a quest to "prove themselves" before actually letting them take any magic. Rea...

that lad with the chainsword is kind of oddly angled, isn't he?

well, poor sculpting isn't your problem. good work on the painting, and i suggest for areas of heavy fur and such you use a darker undercoat to give it the feeling of more depth in the future.

Re: Proof of ownership

i think a lot of it would be "well everyone knows who i sold it to" which is to say most people don't travel much and so their village gossip would function as sufficient receipt "oh, yeah, johaan bought that foal from old gunderssons last year. you leave him be, now". of course this doesn't help tr...

Re: Does anyone know anything about Bögensee?

probably not much. you only need a few low level attendants to clean up and take donations and such if the cult isn't one of those "lenghty sermons are key" types.

if memeory serves they're "knights panther*" in the sense they're offically recognized by the odrer but they haven't....you know, done all the training and aren't so popular with the regular knights for the most part. as it is, i'm certain that if for some reason the players can't come up with a rew...

Re: 20% off from the C7 store with the new Humble Bundle

the maps don't record things like ponds or marshes most of the time. while i would have expected a few more lakes, it's probable those simply get ommitted too because nobody actually maps the forest so much as they map around the forest.

Re: Does anyone know anything about Bögensee?

It seems crazy to me that there would be a temple with no permanent priest assigned to it, but maybe that's an odd quirk of the Cult of Bögenauer. no priest doesn't mean "nobody there", it may simply mean that there's not enough lay priests of that cult around to have one server there full-time ins...

Only your current career level. See page 48: "Talents are only available when you are in the level of the Career that lists them. So, if you are an Apothecary-General, you can only buy Talents listed under Apothecary-General, not those listed under Apprentice Apothecary, Apothecary, or Master Apoth...

Re: End Times: Nagash - the 'Ugly'

the skeletons thing is one of those places where minis sculpting overrode the lore in a bad way, but skaven, beastmen, and greenskins were all fair game for raising as zombies and skellies. so were large things like ogres and horses but this barely got brought up on tabletop so most people didn't kn...

Re: Karak Azgal

There's nothing keeping you from keeping the serious dungeon baddies "down" a few more levels and teasing them with enough gobbos/skaven/hints to level them up a bit first, which is the advantage of the fact it doesn't precisely map WHERE the event areas are. if you aren't sure, i'd say to outline a...

Re: End Times: Nagash - The 'Bad'

in hindsight, the end times narrative confusion makes sense- orders from on high dictated what happened, not plot or game balance. Putting the results of the end times aside for the moment to consider the story in a vacuum- it's just not good. a child wouldn't find the story compelling and the most ...

It's specifically Rieklanders, but you should only need to change a few skills to get another culture's people. bretonnians and tileans wouldn't have doomed as a talent, for example.

Re: The logistics (and logic) of Castle Wittgenstein (

i'd say the easiest answer is that part of their servants are doing some smuggling in their part time- it's both lucrative and makes them not taking tolls a plausable alibi for them "we simply couldn't handle these crimes alone, we can only let them pass so they do not lash out at the peasants in re...

Re: Major shake-up at Cubicle 7

they JUST handed the 40k rights to C7, and they have the age of spendmor stuff coming, so i don't doubt games workshop will extent the lisance for WFRP. that said at the rate things are going they might very well take so long getting TEW out the doors that they manage to screw up both of those lines...

Re: Major shake-up at Cubicle 7

If we don't TEWC this time around either then i will put forward a motion that we encourage Graeme et al to see if GW will let them crowdfund a TEWC directors bumper edition. I may be a tad bit too negative here, but i can't see GW ever even consider that. Tho my small dealings with GW are ancient ...

Re: High mage question

If an elf has two different schools of magic to draw from, he has to keep his spell lists separate. Meaning if you know Blast for jade magic and then you learned bright magic, you would have to learn Blast again to cast it with the bright magic effects. EDIT: Yes, this means paying the full costs fo...
