Re: Hägercrybs adventures?

There are some ideas in the WFRP 4 Core Rules and the Adventures in the Reikland pdf. Nothing big, just ideas to be further developed by the GM.

Re: Enemy With Shadows Details

I'm honestly pretty undecided whether I like that or not. :D I prefer a new set of pregen characters because the ones from the starter set didn't follow character creation rules of the core book. They didn't so that they could be used with the simplified rules from the set. It's clearly stated in t...

Re: Warhammer novels, and short stories

From the Wikipedia: Drachenfels (1989) Beasts in Velvet (1991) Genevieve Undead (1993, three novellas published as a single book) Silver Nails (2002, short stories) The Vampire Genevieve (2005, compilation of the above four books) I'm not exactly sure about the in-world timeline; if I remember corre...

Re: Do we have any ETA on Rough Night and TEW:DC?

I think they've learned from the experience with the Core Book and especially the Starter Set. If you tell people nothing, they moan. If you give them something, they yell. If you give them whole parts of it while the finished, printed product is yet far away, they come with pitchforks. I want this ...

Re: Your opinion on Thousand Thrones and Restless Dead campaings

Now I'm feeling a little bad. I probably sounded much harder on TRD than I meant to. :) Nope, I'm just assuming you've got some pretty high standards, based on what you did with TEW, and while I admire that, it would easily explain why some stuff might be a bit too cliché or just not good enough fo...

Re: Your opinion on Thousand Thrones and Restless Dead campaings

I'd be curious on your thoughts, if nothing else. :) Reading through it myself now. The stringing-together of the originally unrelated scenarios for the mini-campaign seems like classic Sargent - clever, but occasionally hard to follow and with a rather inconsistent tone. (The Enemy Within campaign...

I'm not reading many opinions on The Restless Dead, so let me know if you need more advice on it.

Re: Your opinion on Thousand Thrones and Restless Dead campaings

I've run the first halves of TEW two times and always inserted the Restless Dead campaign into Death on the Reik, since it makes for such a nice secondary main plot running through by giving the PCs something to do during the long journeys. I don't know about running it as a stand-alone, but I imagi...

Re: The Enemy Within: a Companion

Thanks for keeping this up. I'm so excited to run TEW again, though I'll wait for the new 4E version. I plan to testrun 4E with the Ubersreik mini campaign from the new Starter Set. If it works out, I'll use 4E for TEW and incorporate the 1E version and all the fan stuff I like (including yours, of ...

Hi there, my name is Ralph, I'm from Germany and a 1st Edition WFRP player and GM for 30 years. You may know me as Gotthart von Wittgenstein from the Strike-to-Stun community or as that Ralph who was part of the Bergsburg project way back. I've experienced TEW as a player up to and including PbtT, t...

Re: Fate points and critical hits

I've always encouraged my players to use Fate Points as a storytelling device. I rarely provide them with new ones, so I allow spending one to have a massive effect. In combat, it means it does not only cancel out the original action that killed a character somehow, but can be used to create a "...
