Is there a place in one of the books listing pay for commoners? I see the Tier upkeep stuff and hirelings but didn’t see a direct listing for commoner jobs like a barmaid, a stable boy or blacksmith for example.

going roughly off the income rules, a stablehand would be brass three (villager) and a barmaid would be silver one (menial servent), and taking the formulae for earning (a week's worth being an average 30 brass for the stablehand, and 5 silver for the barmaid, and assuming the odds of failure is accounted for in the daily expenditures) you can get a general weekly price of most menial jobs.

blacksmith is trickier since they don't usually hire by the day but are commissioned workers

You can deduce the blacksmith commission from the related good price...

the issue there is figuring out who much they sell in a given week, which is unclear without a LOT of fleshing out the area which most players don't want to sit through.

I always just default to status x3 per day. Most will be Peasants or whatever.
