Magic armour, crit negation

Did we get official word?

Have I asked before?

The question is: if you have a spell that provides Armour Points, can you use it to negate a critical?

If so, what happens to the magic? (Can a spell get "damaged"?)

Can Wizards combine magic and mundane armour? How does that work with crit negation?

To answer the first question, I would say no, just because the Crit deflection rules are in the Armour section of the Consumer guide. The rule seems strictly tied to Armour, in intent.

It seems you're giving your personal answer/interpretation/suggestion and that, no, the devs have not addressed this issue specifically.

Or did I read you wrong?
